2. Staffing & Recruitment Engagements
2.1 Replacement Guarantee
For permanent (full-time) placements, Lumina Workforce offers a replacement guarantee as specified in the
signed engagement agreement. Typical terms:
- If a placed candidate leaves or is terminated within the guarantee period (typically 60–90 days), Lumina will
provide a replacement at no additional recruitment fee
- The replacement guarantee is subject to the client providing reasonable onboarding, work environment, and
terms as discussed during the hiring process
2.2 Contract Staffing
Contract staffing engagements are billed on a monthly or milestone basis. Cancellation terms:
- Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice as specified in the staffing
agreement
- Fees for work completed up to the termination date are non-refundable
- Any advance payments beyond the worked period will be adjusted or refunded within 30 business
days
3. Custom Software Development
3.1 Milestone-Based Projects
- Payments are tied to agreed milestones. Each milestone payment covers work completed in that phase.
- Cancellation before a milestone is completed: You will be billed for the proportionate work
completed, as determined by mutual review. Any overpayment will be refunded within 30 business
days.
- Cancellation after milestone delivery and approval: Delivered milestones are non-refundable.
3.2 Dedicated Team / Monthly Retainer
- Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice
- Fees for the current billing cycle are non-refundable
